Holler if You Hear

Set in a dystopian future where animals have cultivated an advanced consciousness under the control of a supreme leader - humans are being sacrificed in the hopes of bringing back Mother Nature. Following two Humans and their Creature guides through the Forest, Holler if You Hear asks what it truly means to be Human. 

Holler if You Hear was the culmination of four years of work at James Madison University. The final product of my honors thesis — Holler if You Hear: Theatre as Folklore.

It is a full-length play with music that premiered as a staged reading in Fall of 2025 and a laboratory production in Spring 2026 at James Madison University.
